DM9 –Nature Conservation

This policy says that “development that would adversely affect structures, feeding grounds or landscape features used by greater and lesser horseshoe bats will not normally be permitted”. Different sources of evidence will not be given the same weight by all authorities. Developers need to know, at an early stage, what features of development are likely to weigh against their proposals.  This policy should either give that information or should indicate where it can be found.   This information should be kept up to date.
