Comment | Option 3 is The only option to Stop more conjestion around the village quarter and Harbour Road/ Waitrose Carpark etc..Most people will Drive or be dropped off by bus or car at which ever station is chosen. Option 3 will attract users from Clevedon and other areAs which is good For running costs. There is no reason why a bus can't take passengers onfoot to the high st. Temple Meads station is a good walk from Bristol centre And Nailsea train station is a good walk or bus ride from Nailsea So the station doesn't have to be in the centre to be a success. It's cheaper than the other 2 options and there is plenty of space to expand the carpark which Will probably be needed in future as more people move into Portishead. |
