The Town Council are in favor of the proposals as set out but feel that parking provision in car parks could be improved further by the creation of additional disabled and baby spaces. In addition family parking areas for larger wider vehicles which are more commonplace for families should be considered.

The maintenance of free car parking in Nailsea is essential in supporting the economic activity of the Town (including non-retail employment) and in its role as a hub for nearby villages.
