The proposed development at North West, Nailsea is adjacent to lanes that have been built from reeds. They are not fit for purpose currently and will not survive an increase of residential or commuter traffic. Causeway View, West End Lane & Netherton Wood Lane are 10' wide in places. They had agreed weight limits, however, some of the signage has been removed. In order to support the housing development it is vital weight restrictions are introduced and the current speed limit of 60mph is reduce

We feel that Nailsea has reached it's housing capacity it was a village which has dramatically increased it's number of houses during the last 40 years. The Causeway is unsuitable for an increase in traffic likewise other country lanes that lead to The Causeway i.e. West End Lane, Engine Lane, Netherton Wood Lane

We are concerned about the proposed strategic gap at Nailsea , we would like to see it expanded to cover the land behind "The Uplands" that leads down to "Youngwood Lane."
