I strongly support the need to reopen the railway between Portishead and Bristol for passenger traffic, and I compliment the N.Somerset Council for keeping that option open by safeguarding the land. Option 1 is clearly the best site for the station, being accessible to people from both "old" and "new" Portishead and close to the shops and harbour. It has the further advantage of keeping the station and its car park away from houses, minimising noise problems. It is also the place people coming

I strongly support the preservation of strategic cycle route DM25 from Clevedon to Yatton, linking with the existing Strawberry Line cycle route. I look forward to this being made available for public use as soon as possible. In general, I am encouraged by the progress being made in providing safe walking and cycle routes throughout N.Somerset. Notably the coast path route from Clevedon to Weston and the cycle path from Nailsea to Clevedon.

Local Green Space Include Marshall's Field, Clevedon as local green space. This is a valued space much used by local people.

Community Facilities Provide an overlay to your online map which shows all playing fields and recreation areas, including school fields. School fields are particularly important in view of the number sold off in recent years.
