Abbots Leigh, Ham Green, Pill and Easton-in-Gordano Neighbourhood Plan consultation on submitted Neighbourhood Plan
The two Parish Councils of Abbots Leigh, and Pill & Easton-in-Gordano have prepared a Neighbourhood Plan to cover the combined parish council areas. A period f consultation on the Plan was held between 1 February to Monday 15 March. All comments received during the consultation have been forwarded to the Examiner Mr Andrew Ashcroft to take into account during his scrutiny of the Plan.

The Plan was submitted to North Somerset Council on 2 November 2020 so that an independent Examiner can be appointed to Examine the Plan. The Examiner will decide whether or not the plan meets the necessary basic conditions to become a Neighbourhood Plan. Context for this consultation | The Abbots Leigh, Ham Green, Pill and Easton-in-Gordano Neighbourhood Plan was submitted to North Somerset Council on the 2 November 2020 by the parish councils. It is a statutory duty (under regulation 16 of the neighbourhood planning regulations 2012 as amended) for North Somerset Council to undertake a six week period of consultation on the submitted plan before referring all of the comments made during the consultation period to the examiner who will be appointed to carry out the examination. The examiner will assess whether or not the Plan meets the necessary basic conditions. |
