Weston-super-Mare: Prospectus for Change

front 1front 2front 3

Ambitious plans for the future of Weston-super-Mare’s town centre are being developed. North Somerset Council wants to build on recent successes and help Weston become a lively university town where more people want to live, learn and spend their leisure time.

This Prospectus for Change document has been published to show how the town centre can become better equipped to deal with current and future challenges. This means creating outstanding opportunities for quality urban living, business growth and learning, and providing a range of activities for people to enjoy their leisure time.

We would like to hear your views on this vision and ideas on how we can make it happen. These comments will help shape the development of a Weston Town Centre Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). Once a draft SPD has been produced later this year further consultation will take place with local people, businesses, investors, other public bodies and interested parties.

The consultation runs between Monday 2nd March 2015 and Wednesday 15th April 2015. The easiest way to respond to this consultation is to read the document and answer the questions online.
