DM2 Renewable and low carbon energy – we note the policy states that where impacts are insurmountable, or considered of particular harm, applications may be refused. We consider it likely that some areas will be unsuitable for some types of renewable energy, for example due to landscape and/or ecological constraints. The Plan will need to ensure these interests are clearly identified and protected.
