The Town Council agree with the policy but question why EMI provision cannot be included in this policy as a designated category alongside the others specified.

The Town Council support the policy in particular to the following areas.
Dolphin Square redevelopment which has a focus on retail, tourist and leisure use.
We also support that St James Street have a preferred retail focus that encourages daytime visitors and families as opposed to too many bars only which tend to attract late night drinking and anti-social behavior in this key central location.

The Town Council are in support of the policy aims generally however, in light of the increase in population above that of which was originally anticipated that provision of a second motorway junction at Knighcott be reviewed by North Somerset Council in order to relieve the impacts of our population growth in the long term.
