There seem to be two main problems with the Policies Plan (PP). Firstly, there is the impending Court case which may make the whole consultation process invalid. We hope that the North Somerset Council's (NSC) opinion prevails. Secondly, there is no recognition ofBristol's declared ambition to meet its future housing needs by promoting development in North Somerset where it is close to theBristolboundary. Whilst road, rail and air transportation is referred to within the Sites and Policies Plan, no mention is made of the possible benefits that could be drawn from theSevern.
