The A370 corridor from the M5 into central Weston requires careful planning and a design brief. It is a long haul by car and needs to generate a warm welcome to the Town and capture people’s interest by a careful mix of land use, good design and clever Place Making.

Existing approach to density – the proposed target density across North Somerset of 40 dwellings per hectare (dph) adjusted by consideration of accessibility and sensitivity of location is agreed. For urban (city centre) locations height paramaters would be helpful. How will that be dealt with? A indicative zoning plan would be helpful.
