I am writing to oppose the 2036 vision for the green belt valley between Nailsea Town and Towerhouse Wood.

Development of this valley would be highly detrimental to the environment due to increased traffic, noise and pollution. This location would result in all residents having to travel by car as local amenities and connections to other modes of transport will not be possible on foot.

This would put local roads under more pressure and as they are already in a state of disrepair with hundreds of potholes etc, the problem will merely be exacerbated during and after the development period.

Furthermore, wildlife will be displaced, increased surface run off will affect the Yeo River quality, there will be an increased chance of flooding that is already a common occurrence and overall health of both people and wildlife will be affected.

I trust to have served you with my views and that the above will be considered, resulting in this disastrous vision to be extinguished.
