  1. The proposed Mendip Spring development is adjacent to the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and would adversely affect the area and its ecology which is more environmentally, ecologically and landscape-sensitive than the Green Belt immediately south of Bristol.
  2. The environmental/ ecological damage would be permanent. Once the countryside has been lost to tarmac and concrete it is lost forever. Independent reports state that such destruction would be impossible to mitigate against.
  3. Light pollution would be invasive and highly detrimental to wildlife and the tranquillity of the countryside.
Proposed Mendip spring development would adversely affect Mendip Hills AONB.
