We note that with the exception of the increased numbers of housing and its distribution, the remainder of this Policy is unchanged. We remain concerned that drainage and flood risk matters associated with the scale of development proposed must be considered strategically rather than in a piecemeal way and at an early stage when considering the impact of the expected development. As described in the general section above, the cumulative impact on drainage of progressive developments must be considered by the planning authority so as to understand the impact at local and catchment scales and where necessary to have well considered solutions in place before development takes place.
