I am pleased this remains unchanged and future development will respect the character of the West Country.

I am pleased that this remains unchanged and await with concern the result of planned applications in my "infill village" and hope that NSC will honour its commitment to this Strategy.

North Somerset Core Strategy Consultation on consequential changes to remitted policies CS6, CS14, CS19, CS28, CS30, CS31, CS32, CS33 Introduction

I read with interest the document relating to the above consultations and note the increase of housing requirement will have to increase from 13,400 to 20,985 with a review by the end of 2018. My first thought on this is that some day the whole question of overpopulation in this country will have to be dealt with, as land is limited, but I don't suppose either you or I will be around to see this happen.

  • Comment ID: 14402401//2
Although agreeing with this, residents of North Somerset Council should be able to access a definitive illustration/map of The Green Belt on the website or elsewhere to be certain developers are not planning beyond the boundary.

Living in the infill village of Sandford, I am obviously relieved that the majority of this building will take place in Weston super Mare and Weston Villages, and but that this will be an employment-led strategy to reduce out-commuting.
