North Somerset Core Strategy Consultation on consequential changes to remitted policies CS6, CS14, CS19, CS28, CS30, CS31, CS32, CS33 Policy CS33: Smaller settlements and countryside

I fully support this.  As a resident of Sandford, I feel that very small developments within the village boundary are acceptable, as long as they are in keeping with the village and size appropriate.  Green belt should be protected from development.  Affordable housing should be included.  We must consider the lack of services and jobs within these villages, which amongst other things, will impact traffic in the area (which is already a huge problem).

I support that green belt land should be protected from development.  Other sites should be looked at for development first.  Industrial land or brown belt should be prioritised for development.

I support this, development has to be strictly within village boundaries.  Valuable countryside must be protected.  The heart of villages must be protected from greedy developers.  There are plenty of unused industrial sites around North Somerset, prime for development, which are being ignored due to costs.

I agree with this statement.  Growth of the airport must be limited to absolute need.  The many environmental effects of air travel should be taken into consideration.

I support small scale development within village boundaries.  They must be in keeping with the village and should be something that the villagers themselves have input into.  It should be an enhancement to a village - not a monstrosity which makes everyone unhappy (except for the land owner and developer!).  There should also be sufficient services to meet the needs of the current and new residents.  There should also be affordable housing for the next generation and the elderly.
