As a general point we support sustainable development around Hartcliffe and Withywood to create jobs but protecting the area around Highridge Green.  We support any improvements to the South Bristol Community Hospital.

Long Ashton Parish Council believes that this document is the best response NSC could make given the constraints imposed by central government. The PC is only disappointed that the housing numbers have been set so high. It would hope that the strategic commitment to retaining all existing areas of green belt and strategic gaps be honoured into the future.

Locking Parish Council would like to respond as follows: As we fall into the category of CS33 the infill village; there are no changes to the adopted Core Strategy of 2012. We would like NS to enforce the Core Strategy to the maximum and put this to the forefront of any planning applications for our village. Thus also maintaining our green buffer and reducing the risk of flooding in the village part of the Parish from development around it on unsuitable ground.

I write in respect of the draft Core Strategy and in respect to land at Locking facing the A371 between Locking Service Station and Pals.  Studio Lime has made a Pre-Application to you on my behalf and will submitting an Outline Planning Application shortly.  Please note that the field is a brown field site with derelict structures on it and was previously used as a caravan park before lying fallow.

As you are aware, we are a neighbouring Minerals and Waste Authority. Having considered the contents of the attached I wish to advise that the Planning Policy team at SCC do not wish to make further representations. Although we will not actively be engaged in the forthcoming hearings, I should be grateful if you could keep us informed.

The Government imposed numbers for new dwellings, and the threat to take over planning by central agencies means that the numbers are a fait accompli to be complied with, irrespective of local proven need or consultation but their validity does not seem to be for very long. Please define, as the JSP adoption in Early 2018 is prior to the end of the 2006-2026 period AND is less than five years from the imposition of the 20,985 number in 2015 what proportion of the 20,985 is to be built, pipeline

I am extremely concerned about all the proposed housing developments for Yatton. The one main road through The village regularly gets jammed up during peak times and especially when traffic is diverted from the motorway. The proposed 850 new houses will make driving in the village akin to a bumper to bumper inner city experience. I also think the decision at the north end of the village to build on green fields is appalling. Existing residents chose to live in a rural village not a town and this

We have concluded that we have no representation/comments to make on these consequential changes because there is insufficient information in the consultation document on the location of the consequential changes. In the absence of this information, the HSE is unable to give advice regarding the compatibility of future developments within the consultation zones of major hazard installations and MAHPs located in the area of your local plan.

I am happy for new houses to be built within the North Somerset district as I think that young people need somewhere to live, so am hoping that these will be affordable homes.  I do however believe very strongly that there now needs to be an additional motorway junction.  When the junction was first changed it worked well but now it takes the same amount of time to get onto the motorway in the mornings, this is only going to get worse as more houses are built.
