These issues re the 12 service villages will require further assessment before any new development can occur:
Banwell is a conservation area with a number of designated historic buildings. 2 scheduled monuments, (site of Roman villa N of West St, Roman camp in Banwell Woods).
Congresbury is a conservation area, (historic core based on church)
Hutton is a Conservation Area with several listed buildings

Long Ashton and Yanley: Several Conservation areas in area , large number of listed buildings in them. Large no of heritage constraints (Ashton Court close to NE, scheduled monuments of Roman town to west and deserted medieval farmstead to NW.)
Uphill: Main heritage assets are in conservation area , around manor house., forming important strategic gap between Weston. It should not be compromised by development.
Wrington: Conservation area within settlement, no of historic buildings. Barley Wood historic park and garden is close enough to be potentially affected.
