- Within South Bristol the priority is regeneration of "brown field" urban areas; their concern is that development of green field Green Belt land could prejudice these objectives. (Ref p72 Para 3.216).

- We support the Core Strategy approach to local affordable housing with sensible conditions. (Para 3.271)

- We note the Green Belt is a key policy constraint within the north of the district, related to higher order settlements in Bristol. (Para 3.273). Supported.

- We note CS18 Gypsies-Travellers includes sensible caveats.

- Our views on Chapter 5 South West Bristol Urban Extension have been given above, where we support North Somerset Council's position. In the event of further action on 5.23 "Emerging guidelines for development, the guidelines should include "to respect the setting and countryside of the Barrow reservoirs as well as the Dundry slopes." This is to be consistent with the constraints diagram previously drawn up by this parish.
