If the SW Bristol extension goes ahead it should be an urban extension of Bristol, well linked to the existing city and impinging on its neighbours to the S and W as little as possible. Otherwise what is the point of siting it here? Its character and density should be urban, not suburban or "market town". Probably it should be adopted by the City of Bristol, and ceded from North Somerset. There must be buffer green belt maintained to protect Long Ashton, Dundry and Barrow Gurney.
