Persimmon Homes regularly respond to and contribute to neighbourhood plans throughout the country. We accept the importance of neighbourhood plans in giving local communities the opportunity to participate in and shape planning policies in their area and we appreciate they are more accessible and understandable than some higher level plans. However, Neighbourhood Development Plans have to meet the Basic Conditions set out in paragraph 8(2) of schedule 4b of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990
