Support the general intentions of the policy, but object to the current wording, which leaves the scope of this policy unclear. Do the restrictions on infill / garden plot development apply only within settlement boundaries or to all such plots, including those in settlements in the open countryside? I think that we are a bit obsessed with building houses 'in keeping'. This anchors us into the past. Modern materials and structures can be stunning. We should try to embrace the 21st century.
