On the areas of the Core Strategy Consultation Draft that specifically impact on other areas of North Somerset, the council would like to offer its support to the stand taken by North Somerset relative to the Regional Spatial Strategy development proposals for a major development south west of Bristol. More broadly, the stand made to protect the countryside is absolutely key to the protection of one of the most important assets of North Somerset which contributes so much to the character of the District.
