I feel that it is my duty to write to you with my concerns regarding the proposed development of the fields known as Gaulacre.

I believe that the fields were bought to safeguard them and ensure that they were available for the residents of Nailsea. Nailsea is a rural town and this is one of the reasons that we moved to this area. We have lived in an overdeveloped area previously, problems were caused by the over development; difficulty getting Drs appointments, parking issues! There were not enough spaces allocated to homes built (this would be the same as I believe that these are rules set by planning) roads become really busy, at the moment it is difficult to get out of nailsea but if there were more houses this would almost be impossible!!

Please don't change our rural Nailsea into another cramped Bradley Stoke or even worse another Portishead.

Building developers always promise to invest money into the local community but this is he last thing on their mind, profit is the overarching reason and the community that they do not live in is bottom of their list.

Nailsea has already been extended with trendle wood and the elms. Too much. We need space/fields for our child to play.

Please consider our family's views and concerns.
