Comment | High density housing and a convenience store will not benefit the local community, nor respect the intentions of the benefactor. In particular, a shop will change the residential nature of the surrounding development, and lead to increased traffic, noise and litter. Although the council are insisting on retaining the adjacent woodland, the badgers living in the sett in this woodland will have their ranges curtailed, with a serious detrimental impact. Please consider alternatives more sympathetic to the local community: low density housing; day care facilities for the elderly; or (preferably) allotments! |
