I am regular (almost daily) user of the land south of the Uplands. It is the most convenient site where my dogs can safely be let off the lead. 

I agree with all the comments by other respondents relating to access to the site, traffic issues in getting to the site from other parts of Nailsea, the overdevelopment of a beautiful area, resultant drainage issues from building etc, and I do not need to repeat this.

The survey carried out by local residents indicates the importance of this area to Nailsea residents. It is one of the few green spaces which does not have traffic adjacent to it, does not get water- logged in the winter, has a secluded wooded area, and is very quiet with beautiful views. 

This area South of the Uplands deserves to be preserved just the way it is.
