I am particularly concerned with the effect on wildlife which this development will have if the large hedge is uprooted.  This provides a valuable wildlife corridor between the Lake and Trendlewood park/Nowhere Woods.  Badgers, foxes, bats and a large variety of birds live in this location.  A general summary of local concerns has been made from the local residents' group and I endorse all that has been said in that.
