Conference Avenue (Marine View / Portishead Quays?) - Having looked at the site from an ordinary watercourse, surface water and ground water flooding point of view we have the following comments: Drainage Category 1 - Easily drained and sustainable drainage could be implemented easily Reason - Highly variable permeability. Infiltration/soakaway test required and consider whether infiltration can be used as a SuDS technique alongside water storage (in ponds/chambers) and re-use.

Gordano Gate - Having looked at the site from an ordinary watercourse, surface water and ground water flooding point of view we have the following comments: Drainage Category 2 - The site could be drained by sustainable drainage, however there are constraints and these need to be considered in the design Reason - Existing pond on site. Site next to main river (Portbury Ditch). Poorly draining
