Having looked at the site from an ordinary watercourse, surface water and ground water flooding point of view we have the following comments:
Drainage Category 2 - The site could be drained by sustainable drainage, however there are constraints and these need to be considered in the design
Reason – Uphill Great Rhyne adjacent to the site
The subsurface is potentially suitable for infiltration SuDS although the design will be influenced by the ground conditions.

Having looked at the site from an ordinary watercourse, surface water and ground water flooding point of view we have the following comments:
Drainage Category 3 - Sites which will not drain easily and therefore might not be viable as they would require pumping
Reason – Known flooding and constraints for conveyance. Pumping would be required

Conference Avenue (Marine View / Portishead Quays?) - Having looked at the site from an ordinary watercourse, surface water and ground water flooding point of view we have the following comments:
Drainage Category 1 - Easily drained and sustainable drainage could be implemented easily
Reason - Highly variable permeability. Infiltration/soakaway test required and consider whether infiltration can be used as a SuDS technique alongside water storage (in ponds/chambers) and re-use.
