Site Allocations Plan March 2016
Site Allocation Plan (Consultation Draft) March 2016
The Site Allocation Plan allocates land for development in accordance with the North Somerset Core Strategy.
On 2 February the Council’s Executive Committee approved the Site Allocation Plan for consultation purposes. The purpose of the Site Allocations Plan is to identify specific sites required to deliver the North Somerset Core Strategy, consistent with government guidance. This will include a review of existing and the identification of new sites, for example, residential and employment uses, as well as designations to safeguard or protect particular areas such as local green space or strategic gaps.
The consultation period ran from 10 March 2016 to 28 April 2016.
You can view the responses online. All responses received from this consultation will be taken into account when finalising the plan and submitting it to the Secretary of State for examination. All the documents associated with the Site Allocation Plan can be viewed below.
