The HCA accepts that it is unlikely that all development identified for North Somerset over the
next 20 years will be able to be realistically delivered on previously developed sites, therefore
it is accepted that there may be a need for Greenfield sites to come forward for consideration.
HCA considers that South Bristol is an important element in the growth strategy and does
present the opportunity for further expansion of the City, to ensure that growth remains
sustainable and in line with Government guidance relating to sustainable communities.
