The position of 17500 new homes across N. Somerset by 2026 (CS13 page 69) is not entirely clear, but we noted 9000 at Weston-super-mare and that no new large scale housing allocations are proposed anywhere else in the district; Clevedon, Nailsea and Portishead remain the focus for development opportunities.
