If the land at Court House Farm was needed for normal port development, its use would be justified. The actual use of 90% of the land around the dock as a huge carpark for imported cars is an obscenity which should be stopped, not expanded further. Car storage like this should be regarded as environmental pollution and heavily taxed to discourage it. That the cars sold will result in further environmental destruction from new roads and pollution adds to the insult. Any claim to be pursuing sustainable policy is a joke while this continues.
