We object to this Policy as there is no recognition of the significant costs that these other policies of the Plan notably Policy CS2 requirements will bring to developments which in addition with other contributions sought by this policy will render many housing, employment and other developments un-viable. This will completely undermine the delivery of the required housing, employment and other developments necessary to attain the requirements of the PCRSS and meet the needs of the District.

Wrington Parish Council | 19 Feb 2010 | Core Strategy - Consultation Draft Chapter 6: Delivery CS34: Developer Contributions to Infrastructure
While this policy is supported, the Council would like to see a more formal role for local councils in the process under which developer contributions are considered. This would reflect the value of the councils' role in social and community infrastructure issues. It would also be more sympathetic to the aims and aspirations of the Sustainable Community Strategy.
